  provides a wide range of materials with sound tracks. There are varieties of useful exercises and activities. I strongly recommend Business English, Pop Phrases, A Phrase a Minute, Spot the Difference and Keep Your English Up to Date which really help you and your students keep your English up to date.

  offers additional materials (Test Builder, Vocabulary, Games) for practising students´ vocabulary with exercises for each Unit of the New Headway Intermediate textbook. Sections from the course with Everyday English sound tracks are also available right here.

  includes important vocabulary areas using a rich choice of worksheets. There you find vocabulary building quizzes, lesson plans, free English courses and free English preparations in a number of vocabulary fields.

• Nonstop English

  offers sets of exercises in a form of quizzes (quote quiz is new) and word games (flash word games) focused not only on grammar (tenses, modal verbs, prepositions…) but on general vocabulary as well.

• Games Zone – online games

  is a website of various games for practising English vocabulary at all levels. Students and also teachers can play them online and download some for free. It is a great opportunity how to make studying the language more attractive and have a big fun!

• Wikipedia

  is a familiar huge resource of reading materials that may help enlarge students' vocabulary in almost any kind of topic. What is more, all texts are very instructive, so English is now just a go-between for students who learn new through the foreign language.

• English on the Internet

  is another reference where lots of useful aids for teaching vocabulary can be found (i.e. various Vocabulary Topics, Phrasal Verbs, Business Vocabulary, Slang, Vocabulary lessons). All of them are very helpful (not only) in case of an emergency when a teacher has to cope with unexpected substituting for example.

  will be appreciated by teachers and their fourth-graders who are going to take the leaving exam in English. This website of the well-known school magazine shows samples of "maturita" (see resene maturity) which might be helpful for those looking for materials (especially basic facts + vocabulary) of the exam's main topics.

  presents the new updated edition of the Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English which provides teacher's lesson plans (including worksheets) with some advice of how to use the dictionary more effectively.

There are also other useful resources such as short stories, ESL articles and interviews with interesting people.
